The wife of popular gospel musician Kevin Bahati is the subject of talk on social media over a series of transformational photos in the village.

• Accompanied by her husband and baby Heaven, Diana Marua kept netizens talking on how she eased into the village life, away from the ‘slaying,’ common in the streets of Nairobi.
  She had earlier taken to her Instagram page and listed down roles expected of her while at the village.Among the roles that she outlined was preparing daily meals, fetching water a distance away with other girls and feeding the animals.

Soweto B3 is a Kenyan hip-hop group based in Nakuru, Afraha High School formed with the help of Trap Rappers. The group consists of Hyp Thug (real name Maurice Awala Wanyonyi, age 19), Luther King ( age 20) and KKein Prince (real name Reagan Pessah, age 20). They rose to fame in 2018 following the arrival of their single "trap".Through singing, dancing, and music, the Soweto B3 celebrates all the power of African and international hip hop music.

   they, unlike lots of other rappers, make music that you can blast in your car and it doesn’t even matter what the lyrics are saying because the beat is just. that. good.
4. It is kinda late but here it goes anyway.
   I'm a fan of Soweto B3 myself. And the previous answer is correct, they do have a great flow, beats and are flashy. But there's also a little bit more, if you listen enough to the songs you'll be able to realize that the most precious thing about the group is how they complement each other.
   Hyp Thug has the best voice and usually sings all hooks that requires melody. That also makes his parts good to put some autotune on and make it even sound cooler.
   Luther King usually has the best rhymes structures and the way he sings makes you feel like you just stepped out a drug selling spot.
   And Kkein Prince got a huge flow, it is just insane.
   Put all of this together and you have a very consistent work. So they usually can create bangers very easily, because of the range of talents in the group.
   Of course, you may think that they're songs are thrash and non lyrical, et cetera. But how easily they can put up their work is impressive. They make trap music easy and accessible for every kind of person.
5. Good beats and production, simple yet catchy flows, singable choruses, and decent lyrics. As well as not being serious in all their songs and just being a fun listen.

• Kenyan rapper Kennedy Ombima popularly known as King Kaka has been given 2 hours to pull down his latest song ‘Dundaing’ from YouTube.King Kaka went ahead to say that he will continue with his work as usual because he had seen videos worse than his, which were still on YouTube.

• He also insisted that he was not going to pull down the video and will wait to see what action will be taken after the 2 hours deadline.

Tanzanian singer Diamond Platinumz is one of the most successful musicians not only in East Africa, but also the entire continent.

Papa Dennis lands collabo with Jamaica’s Cecile by Jeff Awala

Gospel artiste Papa Dennis has featured Jamaican artiste Cecile in his new song, ‘I am Blessed’.

• Papa Dennis, who won Best Gospel Artiste of the Year Award at Afrimma, disclosed in an interview with a local radio station that his manager reached out to Cecile’s manager and they recorded the new song separately in Kenya and in Jamaica.
  “My managers connected me with her managers and we did the song. She recorded her verse from there and I did mine here and the beat of the song is by Sappy,” said Papa Dennis.
  This comes amidst mix reactions among netizens who are concerned with Kenyan gospel artists collaborating with secular artistes.
  
• In the past, Gospel musicians like Willy Paul and Bahati have come under fire for collaborating with secular artistes like Harmonize and Aslay.
  This caused a stirred in the gospel industry with fellow artists coming out to defend one of their own.
  Janet Otieno, a gospel artiste, in a past interview was of the opinion that there is nothing wrong with that but the song should remain Gospel.
  “I would say it’s not that bad if a gospel artiste collaborates with a secular artiste, every human being needs to offer their praises to God, but it has to be purely gospel,” she said.
   “There is one game changer when it comes to Christians because someone will say God led one to do, then we are in no position to argue with God in anyone’s life as a gospel artist. So if God has led you to do a song with a secular artiste then go ahead because the fruits will always bare at the end, good or bad fruits,” another gospel artiste, Moji Shortbabaa said in a past interview.

2018 AFRIMMA Awards: Khaligraph, Papa Dennis win big.by Jeff Awala

Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones is the winner of the Best Rap Act in the 2018 African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) that went down over the weekend in Dallas, Texas.

Khali edged out a bevy of rappers to bag the award, among them other stars that had been nominated in his category among them Olamide, Zoro and Phyno from Nigeria, Sarkodie from Ghana, Namibia’s Tha Dogg, South Africa’s Casper Nyovest, Shane Eag and Nasty C and MHD from Guinea.

• Gospel artiste Papa Dennis won Best Gospel Artist of the year while Ugandan Eddy Kenzo emerged the winner, East African Artiste of the Year flooring Diamond Platnumz and Alikiba among others.

Uganda’s took home African Newcomer artist of the year award.

• Yemi Alade was crowned the best female artist of the year as Wizkid scooped the Song of the year Award through his song Soco.
  Nigeria singer Mr. Flavour took home the Humanitarian Award as Congo’s Fally Ipupa bagged two awards; Leadership in Music Award and Artist of the Year.

Willy Paul has always left people wondering whether he is truly a dedicated gospel artiste or just using the brand to gain fame and favour.

• His angry fans have once again attacked him for collaborating with a secular Jamaican female artiste in his latest music project and the chap is not having the negativity.In a series of Instagram rants, the Njiwa hit maker was seen striking back at his haters who accused him of being two faced.
  According to them, it is wrong for people to crown the musician as the best gospel artiste while all he does is conform to the secular world.

"Then you will learn that this is the best gospel artiste of the year," one peeved follower said.

Willy hit back saying his critic was just jealous because he was highly "favoured" and was hanging around better people.

Another follower could not understand how a self proclaimed gospel artiste shot a video which had a woman twerking.

"You are misleading us, who twerked in the bible?" A curious fan asked.

For a while, the singer has been on the receiving end of criticism for mixing gospel and secular.

According to most of his followers, he is required to choose one or the other and stop trying to serve both God and the world.

Harmonize Biography

• Harmonize born Rajab Abdul, is a Tanzania recording artist, song writer and performer. He was born on 3 October 1991 in Mtwara, Tanzania. He rose to fame after releasing his hit song Ayiola which topped charts.

He moved to Dar es Salaam in 2009 after completing his secondary education at Mkundi secondary school in Mtwara. He worked as a street hawker at Kariakoo selling small products and tea to other businessman, prior to starting music.
He was signed by WCB (Wasafi Classic Baby) Wasafi Record Label. He was nominated at the AFRIMMA AWARD 2016 Nominees.
He started his music career in 2011. He recorded several songs but the songs did not hit. In 2015, he met Diamond Platnumz and this marked his new dawn.
The two (Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize) are now inseparable. Diamond Platnumz relocated him to South Africa where he at times lives with Zari. He got a permanent tattoo of Diamond Platnumz on his hand.
He says that the tattoo cannot be compared to what Diamond Platnumz has done for him. All he has became and owns is all because of Diamond’s help and that is why he got a permanent tattoo of Diamond Platnumz to remind him of his kindness. His track  “bado” featuring Diamomd was a great hit.

His current lover has been identified as Sarah, an Italian. He first dumped his long time girlfriend, Jacqueline Wolper, a Bongo Movie actress, for this Italian chic. It was barely two weeks after the break up that he introduced this lady, whom he said was pregnant. What fans concluded, was that he was cheating on Jacqueline Wolper.

• Singer Diamond Platnumz, her controversial ex-boyfriend, took to Instagram to mock the beauty and wondered whether he was fit enough to be someone’s future husband.

Tyga Teases Upcoming Single With Chris Brown & Marshmello by Jeff Awala.

Looks like we'll be getting new music from the "Fan Of A Fan" collaborators soon.

• Over the past few years, Tyga became more known for his relationship with Kylie Jenner and his financial woes than the music that made him famous in the first place. However, the rapper has seemingly dodged the Kardashian curse and prosper in recent times. He took over the summer with his single, "Taste" featuring Offset which became his first top 10 single on the Billboard Hot 100 since his appearance on Chris Brown's "Loyal." Now, it looks like he's gearing up to reunite with his Fan Of A Fan collaborator for a new track.
• It looks like Tyga and Chris Brown have a new song on the way produced by Marshmello. The "Rack City" rapper teased the collaboration on Instagram with a photo of himself along with Breezy and Marshmello. The rapper simply captioned the photo, "ready or not 🎶🔥." It's unsure when we could expect T-Raw to drop off his new single, but considering his track record this year and his chemistry with Chris Brown, it's bound to be a certified hit.
• We haven't heard a collaboration between the two since they teamed up on "Rumorz" of off Tyga's 2016 mixtape Rawwest N***a Alive. • One lazy afternoon while browsing through my Facebook wall I saw this beautiful girl Marion Curriy(not her real name but the first one) , she had one thing I admired the most when it comes ladies stuff, the brown dotted teeth, weird right? As long as my eyes were on her teeth, everything else on her was pure refined gold. I could figure out the kiss she could plant on my cheeks if she ever happened to meet me. That’s all I wanted that day.I therefore took the bold step and inboxed her, sending her greetings the sexiest way I could, to my astonishing disappointment she never even replied. Being a man who never gives up, I took it upon me to always check on her wall.The angel luck appeared on me when I least expected. She had posted on her wall that she was single and he want a man who cannot heart break her again. She complained that her ex-boyfriend played with her with another girl. Being a man certified by her heartbroken story, I knew that I had to make her happy andprotect her like my own daughter. I was very much motivated to dig down all by myself. Tanzanian authorities move in to settle Rich Mavoko, Diamond beef.by Jeff Awala

After bongo star Rich Mavoko edited his Instagram account to read ‘Musician from East Africa’ leaving out Wasafi, it was clear something was amiss.

• Well, it seems the beef between Mavoko and Wasafi label owner Diamond Platnumz may have escalated forcing Tanzanian authorities through Baraza La Sanaa Tanzania (BASATA) to mediate between the two.
  Through CEO Godfrey Mngereza, BASATA will hold a sit-down meeting between the two to squash any ill feelings the two artists may have.
  “We have spoken to Wasafi and the label has no issue with Rich Mavoko. The organization will table a meeting between the two because there seems to be no real conflict between the two,”said Mngereza. This comes after the ‘Roho Yangu’ singer met with the authorities five days ago and had a positive outlook on the matter ahead.

• Breaking free from the contract he had signed with Wasafi, Rich Mavoko had complained of favouritism and claimed other artists like him were being ignored by the label.
  The ‘Marry Me’ hitmaker made known his woes revealing that he had been missing from the entertainment scene due to personal matters.
  Speaking to Tanzania’s Kwanza TV, he went on to say that Diamond was forever in his case to drop new songs back to back something he finds challenging because of personal engagements.
  According to Mavoko, WCB has unrealistic demands and only wants things done their way without putting the artist’s desires into consideration.
