Willy Paul has always left people wondering whether he is truly a dedicated gospel artiste or just using the brand to gain fame and favour.
- His angry fans have once again attacked him for collaborating with a secular Jamaican female artiste in his latest music project and the chap is not having the negativity.In a series of Instagram rants, the Njiwa hit maker was seen striking back at his haters who accused him of being two faced.According to them, it is wrong for people to crown the musician as the best gospel artiste while all he does is conform to the secular world.
"Then you will learn that this is the best gospel artiste of the year," one peeved follower said.
Willy hit back saying his critic was just jealous because he was highly "favoured" and was hanging around better people.
"What a shame, jealousy. Is it because I am highly favoured? Or because I am hanging out with someone better than you?" the sour singer replied.
Another follower could not understand how a self proclaimed gospel artiste shot a video which had a woman twerking.
"You are misleading us, who twerked in the bible?" A curious fan asked.
For a while, the singer has been on the receiving end of criticism for mixing gospel and secular.
According to most of his followers, he is required to choose one or the other and stop trying to serve both God and the world.
