Thanks for the love: Vera Sidika grateful after her music video garners over 300k views in hours By Jeff Awala.

Vera Sidika is more than thankful her debut song has hit almost half a million view on YouTube just days after being released.

• The socialite posted a message on her social media account thanking fans for the positive reception they have given her after she dropped “Nalia” during the weekend.
  “Trending at number one on YouTube 394,000 views. Thanks for the love,” she posted.
  Earlier on, she thanked her fans after the song hit 200,000 views in hours.“209,000 views in 23 hours, Trending at no. 1. I honestly appreciate y’all. The lovers, the haters and the confused. For a first timer who had never tried singing before, I did good and I’m proud of myself.

  The song has been amassing views at an outstanding rate as fans rush to get an update of her drama with ex-boyfriend Otile Brown and weigh her singing abilities.
• Many have been impressed so far unlike in most cases when celebs in other fields have tried crossing over to music.
  “Wait, Vera can sing guys! The lyrics is very authentic. Nice selection of words. I like,” said a fan.
  “Wow! To be honest, Vera has pleasantly surprised me..hiyo Kiswahili sanifu, very good quality video and although it's an auto tune, she doesn't have a bad voice!! Big up especially since it's your first try!” added another.
  In Nalia, Sidika opens up about her drama with  Otile Brown whom she had to part ways with after he asked her for half a million to buy a new car.
