Many held he was big enough to stand on his own and even give Diamond a run for his money. With his signing at Wasafi, many claimed he had driven the last nail on his coffin. The recording deal that meant to see him drop countless tracks left him with barely three songs contrary to what his counterparts, even the ones signed after him, had recorded.

Chris Brown arrested in Florida moments after leaving stage.

• Chris Brown was reportedly arrested moments after stepping off stage at a concert in Florida. 

  The controversial R&B singer was apparently spotted being led into a police car shortly after his show at the Coral Sky Ampitheatre in West Palm Beach on Thursday 5 July. 

  Footage recorded by fans shows Brown performing in Florida before the arrest: several officers were waiting for him in the wings while he performed. It was reported Brown was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of a nearby county - he was later posting a $2000 bail and released. It is not currently known what the warrant was for.
• Brown is currently on tour in support of his eighth studio album Heartbreak On A Full Moon. 
  He was previously convicted in 2009 for assaulting his then-girlfriend, the artist Rihanna, at a pre-Grammys party.
  He was sentenced to five years probation, one year of domestic violence counselling, and six months of community service. Sauti Sol quits music, plans to leave Kenya..

• Kenya’s multiple award-winning boy band, Sauti Sol, have hinted a possible major shift in their music engagement in the coming days after what has been a hugely successful career.
  Speaking on Friday while promoting their new single Short and Sweet – a collaboration with Nyashinski – the group said that it is high time for them to move on.
  Speaking to Kiss FM, Bien Aime Baraza, the group’s lead vocalist said that they will soon be opening a record label, possibly before the end of the year.
• Polycarp will be handling A&R, while Chimano will be handling the creative part. Savara will be in charge when it comes to production, business and tech, alongside Merek, their manager, while Bien will be overseeing everything.
  They said they have and are working with so many artistes underground that people are not aware of, but the label will be up and running before August and we will meet them.
  
• After the good news, they dropped the bombshell that Sauti Sol has decided to retire because they have done it all and are at the peak of their career. Sauti Sol shocked us even more when they mentioned that they plan to relocate.
