RnB star Rich Mavoko ditches Diamond's label Wasafi Records.

• There were earlier rumours that Mavoko had left the recording company.The singer confirmed his exit from Wasafi Records through Instagram - Mavoko's fans had been pressuring him to ditch the label claiming his career was being 'massacred' When Tanzanian superstar Rich Mavoko, famed for Itabaki Story hit song, joined Diamond Platinumz's record label Wasafi, thousands of his fans thought he had lost it completely. Many held he was big enough to stand on his own and even give Diamond a run for his money. With his signing at Wasafi, many claimed he had driven the last nail on his coffin. The recording deal that meant to see him drop countless tracks left him with barely three songs contrary to what his counterparts, even the ones signed after him, had recorded. 
• And true to his fans' worry, Rich Mavoko somewhat dwindled after joining the prestigious record, a move that kept his fans un-amused, with quite a multitude urging him to ditch Diamond.Well, it seems the singer heeded to his fans' calls judging with latest reports from Magufuli land and his own cryptic confirmation through social media. Mavoko left Wasafi record label and it was not yet clear where he was headed or if he had decided to roll solo. His move became apparent after he updated his Instagram profile by removing a tag in which he had listed himself as an artist signed under Wasafi. 
• If you go through Instagram accounts of all Wasafi signees such as Harmonize and Rayvanny, you'll realise their profile still has the tag identifying them as Daimond signees unlike Mavoko's. His confirmation came just days after rumour mill went into overdrive with reports he had called it quits at the Diamond owned record label.
